Make a piece of history with us. "The Kansas City Star" newspaper published quilt blocks in the 1920's through the 1960's. These patterns have been put in a book call "The Kansas City Star Quilt Sampler". We will make a 12" x 12" block a month (12 blocks total) using templates (provided) just like they did back in the day.

Cost: $ 20.00
Make a block, bring it to the "class" in a box (rubbermaid), add additional fabric you would like to be used with your block if you have a preference. We will all take someone else's box/block home and add a border. Next month we will bring it back on the 3rd Saturday of the month, have show-n-tell and take a new box home. During the show-n-tell, the person who owns the block that is being shown will not be allowed to see it. Sound like fun?? I think it will be a blast. I can't wait.

Cost: $ FREE
Starting at 1:00 on Saturday Sept. 26, we will start a class called Scrappy Sisters. We will be using a book called "Sisterhood of Scraps" that you will need to purchase ($24). The rest of the class is free. You will choose a pattern out of the book to make. The patterns are all made with scraps. You can use what you have in your scraps or buy some "scraps". You are also welcome to bring scraps to share. You will be given a coupon book to use each month for anything you would like to purchase. This will be a fun day of sewing, fun, and fellowship!! This class will take place the 3rd Saturday of each month

Cost: $ 27.99
